The Census has arrived in your mailbox!

 In Community Links, Community News

The census is a count of everyone residing in the United States.  Our constitution requires a national census once every 10 years. It is important because it determines the distribution of more than 0 billion annually of government funding for critical community services. This community funding includes pay for housing needs, services for our teens, our schools, jobs, our roads, and our hospitals.

It won’t take long: the census has only 10 questions! It does not ask for your social security or citizenship or identification. All information is confidential and not released for 75 years.

If you have a concern call the Census or attend an informational session to get your questions answered to your satisfaction. Get more information on it before you throw the form in the trash! It will make a difference!

Census information session (CANCELLED)
Monday, March 29th
6:00 – 8:00pm
Joe & Vi Jacobs Center (404 Euclid Ave, San Diego)

For more information about the Census go to 2010census.gov.

Please take the time to fill out the Census!

These services can improve the quality of our life and make sure our needs are met. The census serves as our voice and by filling it out we are saying we want the best for our kids, our grandkids as well as ourselves! If we are not counted, we will be passed over and our funding will go to another community.
