Artists Wanted: Arts & Culture Fest Live Art Demos

 In Arts and Culture, Events

If you or someone you know is an artist who would be interested in showing how you create your art and talking with people about what you do, consider applying to be a Live Art Demonstrator at this year’s Arts & Culture Fest.

The Arts & Culture Fest at Market Creek Plaza takes place on Saturday, October 16. With three stages of entertainment, hands-on workshops, international foods and vendors, art contests, kids activities, and much more, it’s a great way to enjoy music, dance, food, and friends in southeastern San Diego.

Our live art demonstrations connect area artists with event attendees in a fun and vibrant atmosphere. Last year, over 6,000 people had the opportunity to meet contemporary and traditional artists working in a variety of media, including paints, clay, and wood.

We are especially interested in highlighting artists and crafts people who work in more traditional arts. Previous festivals have featured local residents who create Samoan tapa cloth and basket weavers from Somalia, among others.
