Contents Under Pressure: The Writing on The Wall

A first-of-its-kind look at the history of graffiti in San Diego.

Contents Under Pressure: The Writing on the Wall is a unique exhibit featuring 30 years of urban art created by San Diego-based graffiti artists and Hip Hop photographers – from the inception of Hip Hop in San Diego, to present day – and how today’s artists are showing the world that graffiti is a legitimate and museum-worthy art form. Take a visual tour of early graffiti sites and check out a never-before-exhibited collection of historic graffiti memorabilia.

Original canvases, wearable art, and more will be available for sale. All proceeds will go to future youth art programs and art park maintenance.

Visit the Center for Community and Cultural Arts website for more information.
