Celebrate new Orange Line stations and trolleys at a special ceremony hosted by MTS and SANDAG at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Euclid Trolley Station at Market Creek Plaza. Officials for the City and County of San Diego, Metropolitan Transit System and the San Diego Association of Governments will launch low-floor car Trolley operations on the Orange Line, which will improve on-time performance and provide quicker, more comfortable and convenient trips for riders. This event marks the completion of Orange Line state improvements on the $720 million Trolley Renewal Project. Trolley Stations, including the one at 450 Euclid Ave., have been renovated with new platforms, shelters and signage. For more information, contact MTS at: (619) 231-1466.
