Supporting 'College Bound' Youth

Pat On The Back Foundation will sponsor 35 youth for a bus trip from San Diego to Los Angeles, CA, to attend the College Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, on next Saturday, February 2, 2013.  The youth attending are students in the 10th through 12th grades, from schools throughout San Diego county (including El Cajon Valley HS, Olympian HS, MarVista HS, Mission Bay HS, Helix HS, Eastlake HS, Morse HS, Lincoln HS and Helix Charter).  We are excited to provide the attending youth with an opportunity to meet with different college representatives in order to ask questions pertinent to prepare for college of their choice, to obtain information packets from participating colleges, and to get financial aid information necessary to attend college.  The youth will also have an opportunity to apply for ‘On the Spot’ Scholarships (educational, vocal and/or band).  POTB Foundation will provide each youth attending, with transportation to and from San Diego to the College Expo, an informational packet to help them get the most out of their College Expo experience, a ticket to enter the College Expo and lunch.
