What's cookin' at Morse High School?
Reginald Jones, President & CEO of the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, and Renee Novo, Sr. Manager of Community Relations & Affairs visited Samuel Morse High School to tour the Culinary Arts Kitchen and learn more about the program. Chef Greg along with 9th grade students Joanna Wilpitz and Jahneice Mitchele prepared lunch in the state of the art commercial kitchen. “It is a fantastic asset to have this caliber instruction available to our youth in the community,” said Reginald Jones. “It was impressive to see these 9th grade students operating equipment that can be found in the top culinary facilities and restaurants in San Diego.”
