The 6th Annual San Diego Praise Fest is designed to provide the San Diego community with an opportunity to come together!
San Diego will experience the synergy of community, music, health information, educational resources, and open-air marketplace in a fusion of inspiration, wellness and cultural empowerment.
TWO MUSIC STAGES
Main Stage and Urban Stage Featuring the best local and international talent in the cultural art forms of gospel, jazz and inspirational music.
OPEN-AIR MARKETPLACE
Authors and Booksellers, Home Improvement Resources, General Wares, Community Resources, Business Services
KIDS ZONE
Area dedicated to youth and small child activities. This area will feature FREE mechanical rides and interactive games.
EDUCATION ROW
This area will offer educational institutions, professionals, and service organizations the opportunity to engage festival attendees by providing information on their services, programs, and campuses. This is a critical time for students as it is the beginning of the school year. High School seniors and adults are beginning their college search and parents are seeking academic support services for their children. Colleges and Universities, Charter, Public, Private, and Alternative Schools, and Educational Support (tutoring, enhancement programs, after-school programs, etc.) will be there to answer any questions.
FOOD COURT
The Food Court will feature the traditional festival foods with an emphasis on healthy food alternatives: VegetarianVegan foods, Meat Alternatives, Raw Foods, and other foods for those not ready for an alternative diet
HEALTH PAVILION
This area will focus on providing information, resources, and screenings to the community. This is a critical time as students are returning to school and need health screenings and immunizations. There will be health exams, HIV/AIDS Testing, Blood pressure, Diabetes Screening, and more.
MENTORSHIP ZONE
Mentoring organizations gather to inform, educate and provide referral services for families with children 5 – 17 years. They seek as well to recruit potential mentors to work with and assist these children and youth to realize their fullest potential, and to register children who are interested in having a mentor.
