Three were murdered for their participation in the resistance movement; their story is told by the surviving sister.
Tickets and more info can be found on Eveoke’s website. The dance company can also be found on Facebook and you can follow them on Twitter.

This Saturday, Arclinea San Diego is hosting The Gingerbread Collective, an open house to benefit Second Chance.
Second Chance provides life skills training, job readiness, and job placement assistance for people who are unemployed or homeless. All proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s food pantry and holiday meals program.
This year’s open house features San Diego chefs and culinary professionals developing drinks and dishes using gingerbread as their inspiration. Attendees will get to ‘vote’ for their favorites and can participate in a silent auction to win gingerbread houses designed by the chefs. Festivities include a canned food drive and an opportunity drawing.
A $20 donation at the door gets you five tasting tickets and two tickets for the opportunity drawing. Attendees are asked to consider bringing non-perishable food items for Second Chance’s food pantry program.
For more info on the open house, visit Arclinea’s Facebook event page. To learn more about Second Chance, be sure to check out their website.
