Please join the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation in congratulating community resident Danny Gutierrez for being recognized as one of the City’s Local Heroes Awardees for 2012. His work with Project Safe Way was cited among his main contributions to the community. Danny’s achievement, along with those of 15 other local heroes, were celebrated last night during an event at San Diego’s Natural History Museum sponsored by KPBS and Union Bank. We are all proud of Danny’s wonderful achievement and the recognition it has garnered. Below is an article published in October when the award was announced.
